We’ve just got our hands on this video of our Global VP of Marketing at Microsoft Advertising, Marc Bresseel, talking at the Dmexco event in Cologne, Germany, on multi-screen media consumption and advertising.
His keynote session last month was billed as:
"Navigating a chaotic consumer landscape: Can multi-screen campaigns break down the barriers?
Incremental fragmentation of the consumer landscape means that it’s no longer enough to deliver a message that resonates on the TV screen, pc screen or mobile screen. To truly connect with the consumer your message must resonate on multiple screens. So how many screens does it take and how do you break through to create compelling experiences that engage consumers emotionally?”
The feedback we saw on Twitter as Marc was speaking was very positive. He shows many interesting stats, facts and figures about how we’re all using digital devices, then moves on to highlight the Avatar advertising campaign we launched across MSN, Windows Live, mobile and Xbox.
The Pepsi Max campaign and Kinect for Xbox 360 also feature in an engaging speech, delivered on an impressive and dramatic stage.
