Grow your business by advertising on MSN, Xbox, and more!
I am pleased to announce the expansion of Microsoft Advertising’s mobile rich media solutions in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, and Spain with the addition of a new partner, EyeWonder. This partnership not only complements Microsoft Advertising’s current rich media offering in EMEA provided by PointRoll, but it will also allow us to deliver more interactive and innovative ad experiences across Microsoft’s premium mobile browse properties outside of the U.S.
By supporting new rich media formats from our partners, Microsoft Advertising is now able to deliver greater value to our advertisers in the following ways:
Increased Reach: The supported rich media formats will be available across more mobile devices including the most popular smartphones, such as those handsets that run Window Phone, iOs, Android and Blackberry mobile operating systems.
Expanded Ad Capabilities: Provide advertisers with greater choice in terms of engaging consumers in a more creative way with innovative mobile ad formats like out-of-banner ads, floating ads, expandable to video, in-banner polling, mobile data collection, mobile couponing and social media extensions.
Larger Geographic Footprint: While today’s announcement is focused on our European expansion of our mobile rich media solutions, our offering is also available in the U.S.

Advertisers in Europe are keen to utilize rich media because its interactive ad formats are successful in driving greater brand engagement. Recently, the Samsung launched a mobile rich media campaign for Galaxy Tab with Microsoft and PointRoll delivered an interaction rate of over 35%.
“PointRoll is focused on delivering engaging and innovative multi-screen rich media experiences globally, that provide our brand and agency clients with action-inspiring experiences efficiently and effectively,” said Cat Spurway, SVP Strategy at PointRoll. “Our strategic partner, Microsoft Advertising, provides immersive, premium mobile properties as well as audience reach on a global basis. Our combined strengths enable us to deliver innovative and engaging experiences for global brands like Samsung across display, video, mobile and tablets.”

Great to see this happening! It seems like the main focus today should be keeping up with your competitors. There will always be one (or more) who jump in full force into every new avenue to explore for their reach out to potential clients and sales. Diligent advertising media planning is crucial to stay on top of it all, and to track your results from all advertising - in all media - worldwide.
