A packed house in the Debussy Theatre here at Cannes Lions 2012, was treated to an inspirational speech yesterday by Chris Capossela who heads up marketing at Microsoft.
The session, entitled “Device Love: Where Technology and Creativity Converge”, outlined the guiding principles Microsoft goes by in order to create desire for its products and services, giving many great creative examples of different teams have captured an enduring essence in some of their campaigns.
Afterwards, we talked about his time on stage, how Microsoft does marketing, how technology has enabled us to create engaging digital campaigns, and what plans there are for marketing Windows 8.
