AOL, Microsoft and Yahoo! Announce Advertising Agreement in Canada

  • Comments 1

Previously, we formally announced a display advertising partnership agreement with Yahoo! and AOL in the United States.

Today, we would like to announce this deal has now been extended to Canada.

In the simplest of terms, we are partnering with Yahoo! and AOL to meet advertiser demand and provide easier access to high quality online display inventory.   Under terms of the deal, our Microsoft Media Network will soon have the ability to offer premium non-reserved owned and operated display inventory from the Yahoo! Network Plus and AOL networks to our advertising customers. This means that Microsoft will now be in a position to provide advertisers with flexible access to an even larger pool of high-quality inventory than ever before.

Similarly, Yahoo! and AOL will now be able to offer Microsoft’s O&O and third party inventory to their own advertising customers, and deliver commensurate value to their publisher partners, as well.  For publishers with whom we work, this deal will open up increased demand and generate higher value for their discretionary inventory.

For more information, please read the Microsoft Advertising blog post when the deal was formally announced in the US.
