Grow your business by advertising on MSN, Xbox, and more!
Microsoft Advertising is committed to growing advertiser demand and increasing revenue for our Windows Phone app developer partners. In connection with this this commitment, Microsoft is excited to announce the roll out of the Windows Phone 8 advertising SDK that will deliver enhanced functionalities to help improve Windows Phone app monetization.
Microsoft has been diligently working on growing advertiser demand. To that end, the new Windows Phone 8 advertising SDK will support a richer set of ad experiences to help boost application monetization. The rich media ad formats will feature Expandable Ads that can include click to video and click to image capabilities. These ad experiences deliver immersive experiences that engage users within the app experience.
According to eMarketer, advertisers are projected to invest 44.2% of their total mobile budget on display advertising (rich media, banners and video) on mobile in 2013. The investment in rich media is only increasing year over year. We are responding to this need with this new SDK. Our sales partners are working closely with advertisers to grow interest and investment in rich media across our app network over time.
